Operations Supervisor

Be part of business that has a story 10,000 years in the making. Juniper Organics, owned and operated in Atlantic Canada, is recruiting for an Operations Supervisor to support our state-of-the-art peat processing facility in the beautiful Juniper, NB. 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operational activities and our valued team.  Ensuring consistent quality, efficiency and safety, the supervisor will prioritize, and problem solve to maximize peat processing performance and improve productivity. The supervisor will also oversee effective equipment operations and maintenance to prevent delays and to help the team to achieve their overall production goals.  This is an exciting opportunity who wants to use their skills in people management to drive results in a high performance, team environment.

As the ideal candidate, you pride yourself on your work ethic, high standards, and values.  You believe in teamwork and know how to bring out the best in others.  You are either mechanically inclined or you are curious and like to understand how things work.  You are high energy and possess strong communication skills.  You possess prior experience managing a team in a production, agricultural, or industrial environment. You are a hands-on leader who leads by example and who does what takes to get the job done but the job done right.  You also want to join a company where your hard work is recognized and where you can achieve all your career goals.
