Programs of Study
Plant Agriculture offers graduate programs leading to MSc & PhD degrees in agronomy, horticultural and turfgrass crops with specialization in four broad fields of focus: Plant Genetics & Breeding, Plant Physiology & Biochemistry, Crop Production Systems and Bioproducts.
At the Undergraduate level, Plant Agriculture faculty participate in the course delivery for the B.Sc.(Agr.) CHATS and the Organic Agriculture majors and the B.Sc. Plant Science major.

Our Faculty
Plant Agriculture's award winning faculty offer an interdisciplinary research environment with a focus in the Plant Sciences encompassing agronomy, horticultural and turfgrass science. With research being conducted in one or more of the disciplines of: Plant Genetics & Breeding, Plant Physiology & Biochemistry, Crop Production Systems and Bioproducts, our faculty meet head on the global challenges presented to current world agriculture.
