By all accounts, this year's Trial Garden Open House was a great success.  In spite of the cool, windy and wet conditions Saturday afternoon, 480 visitors signed in and toured the gardens by closing on Saturday.  More visitors were observed touring the trials on Sunday when summer-like conditions had returned.  The high attendance at the Open House was thanks to the broad  promotional coverage we received from the local media and on the internet. 

Many of the visitors were from Guelph but smaller numbers came from KW, Cambridge, Oakville, Hamilton and Toronto.  The attendees were mostly from the gardening public but the Open House attracted horticultural professionals as well.

A very big thanks to the hard working people responsible for making this event happen!
