Ron Dutton received the the Hidden Hero Recognition Award at the 11th annual community breakfast on campus today.

Every year The University of Guelph recognizes employees who have demonstrated outstanding service to the University community and/or who have made significant contributions to the University community beyond what is normally expected for their positions.

Ron is a greenhouse technician in the Department of Plant Ag. Ron co-ordinates flower arrangements for University events such as the community breakfast and helps various departments around campus. He manages the Bovey greenhouses and conservatory, co-teaches horticultural science classes and helps researchers all over campus. Ron is a wonderful person to work with and the department is so proud and happy that his hard work was recognized in such a nice way.
