Members from the department of Plant Agriculture congregated yesterday to celebrate the retirement of four long-time staff members. They were honoured for their contributions to the university and department:

• Jenny Van de Kamer: over 40 years working at the University
• Valsala Kallidumbil: over 34 years to the University
• Paul Banks: over 23 years to the Department
• Ramany Paliyath: over 18 years to the University

Food, speeches and many well-wishes were shared in a private celebration on campus.
