Thanks to the generous donation from the Good Family Farm, the Social Committee was able to raise more than $300 for the United Way Campaign.
Since 1994 the Good Family has grown pumpkins, squash, gourds and festive corn in the fall. Many of these varieties you will not see in local grocery stores. Visit the website for some great recipes! You still have time to visit the farm and get some of their tasty varieties of squash and see Gourdie Good before the frost gets them.
And because I can never resist at this time of year....
What do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?
