A large number of Plant Ag graduate students received awards at the annual OAC Fall Graduate Awards dinner celebration held in the Arboretum Centre Dec 2, 2014. The graduate scholarships and awards are supported by various alumni and friends of the OAC as well as companies who support the programs of the college, and recognize student academic and extracurricular achievements. Over $400,000, in total, was awarded to students in all the departments of the OAC. It was a great opportunity for the students and faculty to express their gratitude, in person, to those donors who were able to attend. Michelle Arseneault, on behalf of all the students, thanked the donors for their generosity and spoke eloquently about the opportunities that the support represents.
