On Dec 4, 39 grade 9 girls visited from Notre Dame in Burlington. They were here for a Discover Plants Day specifically geared towards girls.

Students had a chance to visit the Bioproducts Discovery and Development Centre; the Bovey Greenhouse; and the Controlled Environment Systems Research Facility.

Dr. Katerina Jordon discussed the exciting opportunities with plants.
