On June 1, 2017, Al Sullivan won the 2017 UGFA Distinguished Professor Award for Excellence in Teaching at OAC. A more formal recognition ceremony is slated for the fall when the Faculty Association hosts a reception devoted to honouring teaching award winners and introducing newly hired faculty to the UGFA membership.
