Travel scholarships

Thanks to generous support from our corporate sponsors, the GPGR4 organising committee is pleased to invite applications for travel scholarships to help exceptional young scientists attend the symposium. Up to five scholarships valued at 1000 EUR each will be awarded. Applications are open to current PhD students or young postdocs (PhD completion no earlier than September 2015) who are presently working in the field of plant genetic resources. 

Deadline for applications: June 23, 2017.

Applications must be submitted using the application form on the GPGR4 website. When submitting your application you will be requested to upload a current CV and a letter of recommendation (e.g. from your PhD supervisor). Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

Prerequisite to be considered for a GPGR4 travel scholarship is submission of an abstract for an oral or poster presentation on a topic relevant for the symposium. Abstracts must be submitted independently of your scholarship application, using the online abstract submission form on the GPGR4 website.

Successful applicants will be notified in early July and the names of the scholarship awardees will be published on the GPGR4 website.
