7 winning ornamental cultivars from the 2014 Trial Garden are being displayed in a garden across the road from the entrance of the Main Guelph Public library (100 Norfolk Street).
The garden is a lot more colourful and vibrant now than it was in June as you can see by the second photo.
This new partnership between the City of Guelph, the University of Guelph and Plant Ag will allow local residents an opportunity to enjoy these magnificent cultivars from the Trial Gardens in public places.
The Guelph Trial Garden is located on the grounds of the Guelph Turfgrass Institute. The program was established in 1932 to promote new seed varieties with superior garden performance. At the end of the season a panel of judges submit their rating scores. The 2015 Public Open House is set for August 14 and 15 - it truly is a must see!
