The OAC Graduate Student Council (GSC) is hosting an interdisciplinary conference for graduate students on Thursday, February 16th, 2017. The event will run from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm in the Arboretum Centre and is FREE to attend! Come on out and participate in discussions with graduate students from across the OAC and other departments in the 6th annual OAC-GSC Colloquium. A team of 6-10 students will brainstorm how the Department of Plant Ag is using research and new technologies to change the way we think of 'conventional' agriculture and where it takes place. FREE breakfast, lunch, snacks, and refreshments will be provided throughout the day. This is great opportunity to network, collaborate, and discuss the boundaries of agriculture in the 21st century. For more information, please see the attached file Colloquium 2017. To RSVP (you do not need to sign up as a team), contact firstname.lastname@example.org by February 3rd. Please include any dietary restrictions you may have.
The GSC is also looking for students interested in participating in the poster session. Please see the attached file Colloquium 2017 - Call for Abstracts for more information.
