Theme “Planting for a Greener Future” will allow students and the general public to bridge the gap between theoretical based knowledge and real-world application by engaging experts through lecture, networking and discussion.
This non-profit, student-run event focuses on providing an opportunity for public, students, academia, and industry to extend their education beyond their current knowledge. The ESS strives to have an educational experience that will both enrich and inspire all attendees. The ESS attracts hundreds of people to attend workshops and lectures which generate thoughtful and positive discussion. Students, academics and citizens alike from a variety of backgrounds are encouraged to share their knowledge, benefiting both the presenters and attendees, and provide a forum to develop new ways of looking at environmental and agricultural problems.
