Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) is excited to announce the launch of the Postdoctoral Research Program (PRP)! The PRP marks a brand new career opportunity for scientists who have recently obtained or are pursuing a doctoral degree in a field of natural sciences.
AAFC is a leader in generating new knowledge, fostering innovation and increasing adoption and commercialization of agricultural, agri-food and agri-based products, processes or practices.
With positions located across Canada, the PRP makes it possible for students and alumni to learn from federal research scientists within these facilities! In turn, the Government of Canada benefits from new and emerging talent.
Qualifications and areas of expertise can be found on the job poster here. An inventory of candidates is established that can be accessed to staff one year term positions. To qualify for this program candidates must have graduated within the last three (3) years with an acceptable doctoral degree in natural science, engineering or mathematics from a recognized University with one of the specializations listed in the areas of expertise at the link above.
For any questions on the PRP please do not hesitate to contact STB HR Planning / DGST RH planification (AAFC/AAC) STBstaffing-dotationDGST@agr.gc.ca
