Responsible glyphosate use sub-committee
Objective: To bring together a collective group of industry, research, extension, and growers through the commodity groups to discuss any issues with glyphosate use for weed management and to develop action plans that will benefit the entire agricultural industry.Mandate of the responsible glyphosate use sub-committee:
- To develop and communicate resistance management guidelines that promote the sustainable use of glyphosate while maintaining grower profitability.
- To identify and address technical issues that may diminish or enhance the effectiveness of glyphosate.
- To identify the impact of sub-lethal glyphosate drift on non-target crops, and establish management practices that minimize off-target drift.
