People and Places

The Plant Agriculture Department has over 30 regular faculty members, 100 permanent & contract staff, and 100 graduate students. In addition, an Agriculture Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) scientist, and several staff from the Ontario Ministry for Agriculture and Food (OMAF) are co-located in our buildings.  Over 20 scientists from various organizations (especially AAFC) are associated with us as adjunct faculty members.

We have faculty and staff located in two buildings (Bovey and Crop Science) on the University of Guelph campus, Ridgetown campus, and at the Vineland, Simcoe and Muck research stations. In addition, much of our field crop research is carried out at the Elora, Woodstock and Huron research stations.
