Woodstock Station

Overview

The Department of Plant Agriculture operates the entire 150 ha. of the station, although only 60 ha. are level and uniform enough for research use. About 30 ha. are systematically tile drained. A 18 m x 35 m building is used for machinery storage, threshing and sample storage and a converted tobacco kiln is used for crop drying. Major crops under study at the Woodstock Station include soybeans, white beans , corn, and cereal crops.

Host of Canada's Outdoor Farm Show
