The Department of Plant Agriculture resides in three campuses located in Southwestern Ontario:

  • Our main Guelph Campus houses faculty, staff and students within two buildings - the Crop Science and E.C. Bovey Buildings. A broad array of research and teaching activities are conducted in agronomy, horticulture, plant biology and turfgrass science.
  • The Simcoe Campus, located on 86.8 hectares of land on the edge of the highly productive Norfolk sand plain in the central Erie region with research programs covering vegetables, fruits, and various alternative crops for the sandy tobacco soils of the area.
  • The Vineland Campus, includes approximately 90 hectares of experimental tender fruit and other orchards, vineyards, rotation crop areas, ornamental plantings, greenhouses and a mushroom production unit.
